Aquinas found their winning ways again with a superb defensive performance in a 35-0 district win over South Broward.
Christian Thompson, making his first start at middle linebacker, led the defense with 8 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. Conor O'Neill sparked the scoring with a 14-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in 1st quarter.
Jeremiah Harden scored 2 touchdowns, including a dazzling 65-yard run in the 3rd quarter. He finished with 85 yards on 8 carries.
Aquinas finished out the scoring when John Carr recovered a blocked punt and returned it 5 yards for a touchdown.
Aquinas continues district play next week with a home game against McArthur.
