Each Monday during the regular season, a trivia question will be posted to test your knowledge of Raider Football History. A randomly selected correct answer will be awarded 2 tickets to a Raider home game.
St. Thomas will celebrate Homecoming this week against district opponent, the Cooper City Cowboys. In the 2006 game versus the Cowboys , Aquinas won 79-3 on a storm-filled night. The Raiders 79 points were the most ever scored by St. Thomas, and the win was also its largest margin of victory ever. Senior Kicker, Wes Byrum, set an all-time Raider record for points after touchdown in a single game against Cooper City. Byrum was a perfect 11 for 11 on PATs.
What was the previous Raider record for points in a single game? And what was the previous record for PATs in a single game?
Hint: Both the points and PATs records occurred in the same 1978 game.
PATs Hint: Mike Stanley held the PATs record.
Post your answer in the comments section below. If you want to try and stump the Press Box Crew with a Raider Trivia question of your own, place it in the Comments section. If we cannot answer your question, we will also place your name in the drawing for 2 tickets.
Last week's question: What Raider was named the Broward County Defensive Player of the Year, but never played college football?
